Hey John,

Do you know where the guy lives that bought it? I could've sworn I saw it this
past weekend as I was driving around a bit early Saturday evening....

I agree- but then you get 15mpg again- That was my big dilemma, it was either
way too small or the mileage was terrible- nothing that did both- I guess it
makes sense but wow- an MDX or Ridgeline was rated at 15mpg, so was my truck,
so where’s the trade off, my truck had the 6.0 that felt like a race car when I
wanted it to, the MDX had 300hp but didn’t feel like 300hp, so the mileage was
hard to get over…. Anything with any size gets pretty terrible mileage, it
would be nice to be able to drive a car like that John!

Well good to hear it has a good home and I did get to ride in it before
you sold it.

I know two people that have Minis. They kinda like them.. Small and
they get shoved around on the road cause everyone ignores them. One is a stick
on an auto. The auto gets quite a bit better mileage than the stick does. It's
in the same league as the PT Cruiser in that the auto gets better mileage and
has more power cause with that tiny engine it has to have a torque converter to
get any kind of acceleration. Geri's PT feels like it has a 90hp engine cause
it's the stick version.

I do kind of like the clubman but my days of sitting on the ground
and crawling out of Tonka big wheels are over. Make that thing about 3x as big
and I'd want one.

We are waiting for them to install the plates on a brand new Mini Clubman.
Decided to lease it and write it off on Cindy's company. That way, no car to

The Monte went to a real good home. The dude has 2 boys 8 and 12 that will be
helping him fix it up for car shows. He loved it and was real impressed with
how well it drove. Laid rubber all the way up the hill. I'll be able to see
that In the street to remember it by.
