I think the high was like 17* the whole time I was there. It was 95* the second day we were in Detroit. The first day was really nice. Walked outside all day at greenfield village and never broke a sweat course many locals were complaining it was so unbearably hot.... Geri said I could probably come and play in september. It's the best month to fly cause school has been in session for almost a month and fewer people are flying. > > There is a car show in Saint Charles tonight, but I think I'll remain in > the cool for the rest of the day. > All for now, > JC > ---s, IL > Looks like your weather is going to be much cooler but wet. It's extremely dry here. All of the grass out front is dead. Just twigs and dirt. Same with the back except for the sticker burs that grow no matter what the weather. Going to spray roundup on all of them and just kill everything off. Need about 6 dumptruck loads of good soil to till in and then cover that with sod(many pallets). Course without a well that's all in vain. Need to explore more of the buried concrete in the yard and see if they were old wells and if they can be servicable enough for watering the grass.
