I'm sold on Canons. The Powershots are easy to use and I am LOVING the T1i. The photo quality is amazing, as expected. The T1i also easy to use - you can set it to full automatic and get great shots. This site has reviews that I've found helpful: http://www.dpreview.com I usually skip to the conclusion page, the reviews are thorough!
