Hi I have the only tree on the verge and it is mature but it is suffering
greatly with branches being broken by lorries and skip lorries. It also makes
it dark in my front room . So beware of what you wish for ! Saplings would be
lovely but they grow.

I think I remember a while ago someone on this group saying that there was some
money to be spent on something local. If any money is still available what
about using it to buy some young trees to be planted on the grass
verges on Endcliffe Glen Road?
There is an issue with cars taking short cuts down this road, causing blockages
that result in cars annoyingly driving onto the grass verges. In several places
people have put rocks, sticks and piles of wood. If trees
were planted one of the many benefits could be stopping people driving on the
verge.
Any thoughts?
