It might be worth looking at your "Global: Embosser Setup" in DBT. Select your embosser, and then select the "Modify" button. Navigate to the "Device Settings" tab, and see if "Allow Escape Codes" is checked. Unchecking this may resolve your problem. The idea of "Escape Codes" is so that DBT controls your embosser. If you have a Top Margin set, and "Allow Escape Codes" is on, the embosser will honour what DBT is set to. George. Yay! But then I embossed something else and it went back to the way it was. do I need to do this setting everytime I emboss, or should it automatically do this once I have set it using the following set of directions? Try this to see if it will help set the top-of-form. Take the embosser off line (oll) enter 0.3E for the menu (if you're using a different menu number, put that number instead of the 3) enter 30.5E (I use that setting). The manual suggests 30.3E then enter 1.1E to reset the embosser (The embosser will be reconfigured.) Hope this helps. Could someone please tell me why my Juliet Classic Embosser will not leave a space at the top of form. I have set it by the USB settings and it still isn't working. Thank you all for your time and advice. Tina
