wonder no more, I was doing this for a student who is learning grade one
Braille. They are not able at this time to read with single spacing. We are
working on it though.

One wonders why you would want more than one space between words. Couldn't
you use the search and replace for that?

I'm afraid you would need to put a "Hard Space" between each word. By
default, DBT removes any additional spaces between words and sentences.

A single hard space is produce by the key command Alt + F2, and inserts the
['] code.

I mean between each word. Is there a code that would do the whole document
or do you have to do it between each word? Thanks

      Hi Paula,

Do you really mean between each WORD, or did you really mean LINE.

If you mean double spaced lines, go to the beginning of the .dxp document
in DBT (or wherever you wish to begin double spacing) and press Shift + F2.

This will insert an [svsbl1] Code into the document which does the job.

      George.

I am still very nnew to duxbury and just get confused some times.
I would like to know how to double space between each word. I know there
is a code but don't know what it is and do I insert it at the begining of the
document after I put the code for grade one braille. Thanks.
