Partial answer to your questions. IN SN you can save the file as either a BMP or JPEG. Whichever you prefer. The best embosser to use to generate these graphics would be those manufactured by either Enabling Technologies or by Index. The reason is that both of these brand have the ability to create graphics in "High Resolution Mode" That is make the dots much closer together. Normal Braille is 8 dots to the inch. High resolution modes create graphics at 17 dots to the inch. If you import the plot from SN in TGD Pro then you can set up Pro to use this feature and when the smooth line graphic is converted to Braille dots it will be done so at 17 dots. It is then imported into Duxbury with these features attached to the file. When Duxbury is creating a document the Braille will be at normal resolution but when the graphics is produced the embosser is kicked up to high resolution and then back to normal when it return to Braille. Using the Tigers you can never product a full size Braille dots because its embossing pins are undersized. If any further information is required I would be glad to supply it. David A.
