To Anyone who Knows the Answer:

I downloaded DBT 10.5 upgrade last evening on the strength of my licence
disk. When I launch DBT, it tells me it will have to be activated by ...
with no date shown (I believe I read somewhere this is intended to be by 45
days after installation). I understand that I will have to pay something for
the update since I originally paid for 10.3. On Tuesday, after the Labour
Day weekend, I will arrange to pay for the update.

I have been able to play around with the programme a bit today, successfully
I think. Presumably, I am running in Demonstration Mode. Does this mode have
all the bells and whistles as the fully activated mode? If not, does anyone
know what won't happen in Demonstration Mode? I particularly miss the
highlighting of styles and codes in red font--mine are showing in black in
10.5--and hope this will be remedied upon full activation!!!

Thanks, to anyone who can enlighten me before Tuesday ...

The DBT 10.5 upgrade may be downloaded from
http://www.duxburysystems.com. Duxbury will not charge you
for the process of downloading this file, although if you
are on dial-up your ISP and telephone company may rip a
major chunk out of your wallet since it is a 10+ megabyte
file.

However, you should be aware that in some cases, you may
have to part with some hard earned currency to Duxbury if
you do not qualify for a free upgrade. You will however be
able to run the program in Demonstration mode.
