Hi Dale,

Known problem with 10.3. Microsoft were not telling the whole truth
when the said the format of Word 2000 files was the same as previous
versions.

Open the documents in Word, and re-save them as a Word 6/95 Type file,
using "Save As" instead of "Save".

George.
