Hi Doreen, To have this work for all future documents, you'll have to create a template. To create a new template: 1. Open a new document using the default template (or whatever template you now use when you open a new document). 2. Go to the Document Menu and select Page Numbering. In that dialog, you'll find a control to set the first displayable page number, which you change from 1 to 2. Press OK to save your changes. 3. Then, in the Document Menu, go to Create New Template. In the first control, type the name of your new template, which can be any meaningful name you like. There's a checkbox to make your new template the default, and if you want to use this template for all future documents you create, you should check it. Then, tab to OK to save your changes. You'll be asked whether you want to include text from this document as part of your new template, and you should answer No. You're now done, so close the document without saving it. Before you create this template, you may want to think about other settings you might want to use in new documents. For example, some people prefer to use narrow paper instead of wide, which is the default. If this is true for you, you could change your document embosser settings to reflect this preference in your new template. If you later decide that you want to build other settings into your template, you can always return to the Create Template option and modify your template using the steps above. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and I'll be happy to answer them if I can.
