The "stripping" option is available to all, but undocumented.
dbtw /RemovePageInfo <templatefilename>
Will strip out printer and embosser setup information.
We didn't include that in the command-line summary because I felt it would
be confusing to people to even try to explain what it means.

Peter and Joe will correct me I am sure, but to all intents and purposes any
Template which has "- basic" after the name, such as "Danish - basic", is
simply a basic Template, but pointing to the appropriate Language
Translation Table.
If you want more information about the Language Translation Tables, these
are defined in much more detail within the Language Translation Tables Help
Topic.
Where a Template does NOT have "- basic" appended, such as "Irish" for
example, any refinements will normally be found by looking at the "initial"
style for that Template. This "initial" Style embraces the whole document
and sets up defaults for every document using that Template, hence you will
not see any Codes within the document itself.
The whole Templates issue has been very much a moving feast of late,
especially since all the "- basic" Templates have only recently been added,
plus a few more which have been supplied from local sources, "Irish" being
just one.
Consequently this section of Help does still require some additional
explanatory work before release.
I should just re-itterate what Peter says, in so much as NO embosser or
paper size information is attached to a Duxbury "Release" Template.
And before you ask (smile), I should also expand on this.
If you CREATE a new Template locally, then it WILL contain embosser and form
size information. This is intentional design, since the vast majority of
users will design a Template for their own use where they actually WANT this
information.
However, in cases where a Template is designed for distribution with the
original software, Irish being a classic case in point, Duxbury use a very
special in-house process to strip out the superfluous embosser information.
After all, there is no point in supplying production release DBTs with a
Template set up for an E.T. embosser when the user actually has an Index.
And to qualify this further, please do not expect to be able to bombard
Duxbury with all manner of Templates for "stripping" unless you are either a
very large multi-user customer, or have a few shillings in your pocket to
pay for the service.
That said, perhaps in a future version of DBT, we might see an option to
allow this, but certainly not in the current iteration.

It's a good idea all the same, especially if it is one one knows little
about. This is the first pre-release with a large number of templates, which
