I think I know what the problem is and have it fixed.

Tesfaye, I think the problem was something we introduced in beta 6 to help the Elekul.

Could you install beta 5 of DBT 10.6 to see if that works with the Gemini? I think that may be the easiest way to confirm that we have solved the problem.
