Eileen,

We all know that you're secretly pulling the strings of every braille
transcriber nationwide. Don't deny it.

The trouble is that we really must stop adding features at some point, and
that time has come. This beta cycle has been very fruitful for us -- we've
found and fixed much more than I could have imagined was wrong. That's a
good thing in the end, because it should allow us to use DBT 10.5 as a
stable base for improving the product through a series of more minor
updates.

FYI, there *is* a way to add an extra line -- it's just not pretty. You
must save the original file as a .BRF file, then re-import it to a new
document, set for 26 lines per page. Be sure first to check the topmost
checkbox in the Global, Formatted Braille Importer dialog. Then you can add
an extra line to any page you wish. However, you will have to be careful
about how you manage line wraps on the page you are editing. (It's easy to
understand what that means if you ever try it. Using Layout, Join Lines can
help with line break issues.)

Or, as Warren suggests, you could use MegaDots. It's just always tough to
switch horses mid-job.

What a great question, Jan!

Peter, is there? Huh? Please ...

For the record, I did not put Jan up to this! :)

Subject: [duxhelp] 26 lines or more

Is it my imagination for what. I just did an entire document using 26 lines
in duxbury. I set it up under document embosser set up. It did the entire
6 page document that way. Is there any way to have this option for one page
only in the future. My embosser is set up for the ET Braille Express. We
have been wanting to be able to emboss on the 26th line here for several
years to accomodate changes on one page in a document that runs it over to
the 26th line. Do you have any suggestions for this?
