Yes, I'll be judging In Harmony Trials, and so far there are no clinic plans,
unless somebody wants to organize one, but the following weekend is
Gladstone, and In Harmony is on a Sunday, so can't do a clinic before, so
could do it only beginning of the week. But if somebody wants to organize
one, ok, I'm open to suggestions, for which then please contact me by private
e-mail.

On the pole length, there is really not much different with the Standardbred,
I think, the same basic holds true. You certainly have to have the horses
moved out far enough that they don't hit any part of the carriage with their
hind legs or feet. Again, if a slight touch does happen once in a blue moon,
that does not do any damage to either horse nor carriage, then I don't have a
problem with that, and do have that at my carriage, but with me only at a
full gallopp. But that slight touch must be the absolute exception and can
not be the norm, otherwise they are too closely hitched, or the carriage is
not fitting the horses or not designed properly for them. So, if you have
any of that, of course you have to move the pole out to accomodate the stride
length.

Hardy (no sleigh driving here in S.Cal. for me)
