to the person who asked about hitching green + not so green : The most important thing is for both animals to learn to work together.I would not set things up intentionally to let greenie get out of any work, or pull less. It is a good way to teach him it is ok not to share the work, and let his buddy do it all ! I would hope the greenie has been hooked single enough times to be used to pulling weight, so when put together, moving a carriage forward will not be a strange sensation. It would be more productive to keep the practice sessions short, but insist from the beginning that both animals move off together, not one first, then the other. The one who moves first with no help will get frustrated with his buddy after enough of this. In a pair you always have one animal that is more ambitious than the other, it's enough to try to correct this without having created it intentionally in the first place ! :) Dana (where did that wind come from today ! Wind chill in the teens .) _________________________________________________________ To Unsubscribe, change to Digest or Vacation mode go to: http://www.drivingpairs.com/dpmem.html `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
