Very interesting post about packing, Kathy. We haven't traveled with the pair
and carriage yet, so we haven't put the thought into it that you have. Of
course we couldn't survive without Rubbermaid. The reason we haven't gone
anywhere with the carriage is the problem of how to transport it. I don't
suppose anyone has figured out a wonderful way of getting the carriage into the
truck that allows you to get it in and out without unhooking the truck from the
trailer? Larry is working on how to deal with the wheelwells when the carriage
is in the truck. last week I was ring steward at a driving show, and walked
around seeing how everybody was doing it. It was a small show, so only 2 pairs
entered and they had rigs big enough to take the carriage in the trailer. Lots
of Meadowbrooks in the truck, one wheel up on the wheel well, didn't look too
good for hauling very far. We can take the Meadowbrook and two horses in our
stock trailer, but not the 4-wheeled carriage.
