Shoeing can be done or not It depends on condition of the hooves,
conformation of the critter, where and how much do you drive? These are all
factors to be
taken in. If your pony has a good conformation and lands level give it a try
but wait until he has some hoof growth and don't trim too much just round the
edges and balance the hoof. Before you do that paint the soles for a couple of
weeks with Venice of Turpentine or a product called Durasole that will tuffin
