[dokuwiki] ideas for preventing caching of instructions

Hi,

I have just completed an "IF" plugin that preprocesses the raw wiki text, only to realise there is no way to selectively prevent caching of instructions. I can force "purge=1" but that has to be done before I know whether or not the page has any conditional content and will therefore prevent non-conditional pages from being cached.

Does anyone have any ideas for whether instruction caching should be selectively preventable and if so how it should be done.

Is this something that could be indicated in the page metadata, perhaps along with whether or not the rendered content is also cacheable?

Cheers,

Chris
