It does not seems like the problem is the encoding of the file, I've
attached my test file if you want to check it.

i think it is. my attached file shows you what i get when opening itwith vim.

noticed the [noeol][dos] ?
maybe s.o. else knows what that means ;)

have you considered trying eclipse?
