That's right about format conversion - thanks Scott. My question is really what sources have provided a good combination of high quality sounds and reasonable licensing? =20 dy This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -----Original Message----- From: Scott Selfon [mailto:scottsel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Thursday, November 07, 2002 11:49 AM To: directmusic@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [directmusic] Re: DLS sources? Of course, you can convert many other formats to DLS without too much trouble using tools like AWave. Just keep in mind that not all formats have analogous settings, so you might have to do some hand-massaging. Sonic Implants (http://www.sonicimplants.com) did some of the DLS sounds for the demos that shipped with DMP in DirectX 8. -Scott This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
