Hi Ivan,This maybe a thought, go to delay by first going to the synth rack like a explained in the last email. Now rather than go through all the delays, just arrow to off and press enter, as this synth delay will be a nightmare to synchronise to Sonar's tempo. Once the synth is dry, just select a sonitus delay as they are in sync with Sonar's tempo.

Hi Ivan, Ok, sorry about the delay, no pun intended.I'm going to explain as a Sonar 7 user, I imagine this should be similar onthe later Sonar updates. 1: alt 8 for synth rack, 2: arrow down to the synth you wish to make delay changes, 3: press P to open the synth properties page, 4: press F4, 5: arrow down until you hear "delay control" and press enter,6: Jaws should say, "delay button for current element" press enter on this, 7: arrow down through all kinds of delay types and click on lets say stereodelay, 8: you can tab through the parameters and change things like delay time, delay repeats and so on.9: once you have the delay set how you want it to sound just press control F4 to take you back to the synth rack...I know it's not as straight forward as rapture, however, I do like using DSF packages in dimension Pro because Cake Talking allows us more access to the parametersthan most other soft synth products. Hope this helps. To all on the list, if I've made any major information booboos please chime in.Steve W----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Wicketts" <steve.wicketts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 07, 2011 10:08 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: [ddots-l] Re: Re:_[ddots-l]_Re:_Re:_[ddots-l]_Configuring_soun d_pat_ches_to_conform_t_o_Sonar’s_tempoHi Ivan,Tomorrow, before I start work on my project, I'll take a quick look to see if the DSF packages work like the Dimension Pro sounds do within the synthrack. I'll email tomorrow my findings. The rest of the options say: “synth is connected,” “Plug-in name” “Mute” “Solo” “synth is not frozen” “Automation” “automation write” “show assign controls” I also messed with the show assign controls and I can’t tell any changes when I pick settings from this option. Cakewalk’s rep said to go under Dimensions options (F4) and se if the cut off or amplitude modulation options will fix the problem. Thanks again and cheers! Dimension Pro has some CT scrip's so you can go into theparameters and change things like the reverb, Chorus, delay, Pitch and soon. I think this is the only way you are going to get the effects or arpeggiater sequences to be in time with Sonar. All the above is found in the synth rack. Hope this helps.----- Original Message ----- From: <ivanlopez@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, September 05, 2011 6:19 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Re:_[ddots-l]_Configuring_sound_pat ches_to_conform_t o_Sonar’s_tempo Sorry, my below message apparently did not come through in the last email. Hi Steve, I bought some expansion packs made by Digital Factory for use in Dimension pro. Some of these sound patches or presets have a rhythm aspect to them that is independent from Sonar’s arpeggeator and the rhythm is not aligned to Sonar’s tempo. The rhythmic aspect of the presets I am referring to sometimes is influenced by an arpeggio or reverb effect. Dimension, Rapture, and Z3tar+ have many of these presets that have a rhythmic component and they are already configured to Sonar’s tempo. This means that I can alter Sonar’s tempo and the sound patch or preset’s in Dimension, Rapture, and Z3tar+ will follow Sonar’s tempo changes, but not when I do tempo changes with Digital Factories expansion packs. I hope this makes sense, Cheers!
