Hi Thomas,
It's a very steep learning curve you have a head of you. Best thing to do is
start reading some of the Caketalking tutorial document and come back to
this list with questions regarding anything you don't quite understand.
Not sure what the rme baby face blue is?
You will be able to easily record your piano and vocals.
Regarding mixing, you don't need to use an external mixer.
It's a tricky mountain to climb and I definitely haven't reach the top but
if I can climb it anyone can.

Hi guys,
I'm a total beginner on the cakewalking/sonar front who just purchased the
cakewalking scripts.
I'd like to know if the rme baby face blue will work fine with sonar and
caketalking. I want to work mainly with software synths within sonar and
from time to time record an external source like my piano or some singing.
I assume I will be able to do all the mixing using the controls within sonar
and won't necessarily need an external mixer.
Hopefully somebody will be able to help me on this one.
