[ddots-l] audio dropouts

Hello,
I'm using sonar 8.5, and I've been getting a lot of audio dropouts with it.
I've checked all my settings, especially sample rates, buffers, etc, and they
all seem correct. One project in particular that has given me problems was one
where i recorded live guitars. What are some things that may be causing the
audio dropouts besides sample rate, buffer size, etc?
