Hi,
I'd assume he means when exporting audio. And I'd say 16 bit is usually fine for any standard listening, like on cd, etc. 24 bit would be for those audiophiles who claim they can hear a difference between 16 and 24 bit, and 32 bit... I just don't know when you'd use that unless I guess you were going to import it into another program and do complex editing on it and that program supported 32 bit.
