I hear ya Chris.
I have had that happen a few times. As a matter of fact, Godin sent me a
guitar 3 weeks ago and that happened.
I was sitting and waiting on this new prototype which was supposed to be bad
to the bone. No TV or music on, nothing but silence as I waited for the
brown truck. Then I heard that familiar rumble! Oh wow I thought, its
hear! Then I heard a thump, and sure enough, on the porch was a guitar.
I was lucky that I was expecting it, and it was only about 90 degrees here
that day...
I like USPS for the most part. Lots of times I ship things with them, and
at least it gets there pretty quick if you send it priority. Most of the
time it costs less too.

Wow Shawn. Bad luck!
I can top that though. I had UPS leave a new guitar in it's big cardboard
box out in twenty below zero weather on the porch! Didn't ring the bell,
didn't leave a slip, just left the package there. Anybody could have
gotten curious and just walked off with it.
