Hello:
I would suggest that you purchase a program called extreme sample converter.
It is quite accessible and will convert many sample formats to any other
format, including sfz, and it does list haylian fxb as one of the compatible
formats. I don't have any fxb files to try myself, but it is there. In many
cases, you will need to tweak things in sfz after you convert them, so I would
get familiar with the sfz text format. I think the program costs around $75 or
so, but it is well worth it in my oppinion.

  Dear Gord,

Would you be so kind as to tell me how I am going to open and use these FXB
files to use in Sonar?
Every single FXB file is in a folder with many other files with the extension
of WAV. I think because they are recorded real instruments.
And I think these FXB files are the combination of that WAV files.
I hope I am able to explain what I am dealing with. If not please tell me I
will try to make it clearer.
These technical things are not so easy to describe.
If you do not mind, I like to sent you one of the Files I have been trying to
open, in case when you see the folder you may come up with an idea and we
  can save some times.
It has 11 WAV and 1 FXB file. I am not sure, if I only sent the FXB file
without the WAV files it would work or not.
  Tell me what you think.
  Thanks allot for your help

    Hello:
Fxb is not a sound format. It is a vst format for saving banks of patches
for any given vst plug-in. Your fxb files are proprietory for whatever plug-in
they were created on.

          Hi all,
How can I open FXB files in SFZ? I have some sounds in fxb format. I am
able to see the fxb files in SFZ but when I attempt to lode them I hear
nothing. Unlike that, WAV files are no problem to open and lode them in to
sonar and play on my keyboard.
      Thanks
      Caglar
