[ddots-l] Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 with Sonar

Hi All,
I need some good orchestral instruments and seem to remember people
recommending Garritan as the way to go. The info on version 4 talks
about the Aria player, so I'm wondering whether instruments are
usable with Sonar through a VST plug-in, like Superior Drummer, or is
it necessary to use the Aria player, in short, is it accessible?
Are there any good alternatives?
