Hey Greg it's not that complicated. Once you insert dimension pro in to the synth rack, hit enter on it then hit p for properties. then you can either use the jaws cursor or route jaws to PC. Then aero up to presets. The line right below presets is the one you're going to be looking for. So, arrow down Jaws should say something like graphic 128 or maybe in your case it will say 138. Then hit home and use your arrow keys you can go either right or left. I don't know what your coordinate will be but mine is 65 69. Once you find the right coordinate, left click and the tree view will open up. once you find a sound hit enter on it and then if you want to choose another sound you should just be able to arrow down or up and the other patches should be available. Now having said all that, How is hyper sonic? Is it real pricey? How do you access the patches in it? Do you need to use the jaws cursor? ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Brayton To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, March 02, 2007 3:50 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Fw: domention pro with hsc? Well I've not used HSC, but here's what I do to get dimension pro going, alt i then x, pick dimension pro from the list, hit enter, alt v and h, for synth rack, alt x again, to choose the dimension pro from the list of inserted synths, hit enter, thenp to go in to properties, page up, then arrow down twice, go to jaws curser, not routing jaws to pc, just jaws curser, I use insert and the arrow keys, to find, graphic, 138, it's usually right near where I start, one or two arrows, once on that graphic, alt shift, and the numpad, 4, 12 times, Jaws says, mouse left each time, I then hit the pc curser, do a say line, and find myself, at the top of the dimension pro, presets, I have to down arrow, and hit say line to read each branch, to hear a patch, I must hit enter on it, I then have to use the jaws curser again, to find the tree, left click, and continue down it as before. If this sounds like a lot to you, I gotta tell ya, it seems like a bunch to me too. I do use it, but it's not what I'd call real easy to use. On the other hand, stineburg hypersonic is so easy. So is lounge lizard. I'd like to know from anyone on this list, what other soft synths are as easy to use as the stineburg especially. Man for me, that's the one. http://www.gbrayton.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Ramy Moustafa To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, March 02, 2007 7:58 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Fw: domention pro with hsc? ----- Original Message ----- Subject: domention pro with hsc? hi all, yesterday, i recieved my copy of dymention pro, its great thing with more orchestral and drums sounds, but i have only a problem, i can load patches but with more and more luck, just i found a word called no, then hit down errow and hit left click, sometimes it succeed and some thimes, no, jaws can't read at all, so, in a very very simple way, how can i use the hsc just for spotting this graphic in order to load patches? and the other question, is i can't find any wood wins or brasss in this synth, why? or i missed something? thanks Cheers: Ramy moustafa, if music be the food of love, play on... be treated as equals, -- and communication is the way we can bring this about."
