[ddots-l] Digital recorders for the Blind

Hi FRee Lists:
I am looking for a digital recorder. I currently have the Olympus DS
50. I have seen several of the newer Olympus models mentioned on the
list. Many of you all have mentioned the Zoom recorders. Which model
would you all consider the most user friendly for the blind and the
visually impaired? What do you think of the Zoom H 1, which has
rercently been added to blind cool tech.
Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Do any of you have the ID mate summit or the Pin Friend which
helps read cans, CD's etc.? Which of these two do you all prefer
?
