Thanks Dave and a very timely question.

I have the labeling program that came with Roxio version 5 I think it was, and while it can aquire the artist and track info from CD Text on the disc itself, or online from CDDB, it isn't smart enough to size this info so it all fits on the label. I still have to get someone with a mouse and eyeballs to move things around and adjust font size. it's very annoying.

Couldn't someone come up with a template in MS Word for one or more of the popular brands of labels? Then you could just type in the info or copy/paste from another program.

Hello,

Anyone found a program that we can use to generate reasonable-looking CD
covers and disc labels? All my peers are tired of getting CDs from me that
are not labeled and then losing them.

Subject: [ddots-l] Slightly off topic, new program for blind musicians

Hi All,

I have been working with computer guru and musician Robert Moerland to up
date his Brest Practice program to make it blind friendly.

Well, success! It is now accessible with JFW 50 or higher, probably older
versions will work as well as the interface is fairly simple.

I am going to write a help file for JFW users which will be available on my:
www.blindresources.info site and also on Robert's as well, however, I am not
sure that it will be really needed.

I think that any one that has used JFW for a month or so should be able to
get it quick.

The program allows you to take just about any audio file and slow it down
for practice you can loop parts of songs and pitch shift as well.

It sounds amazing!
