I'm reading through a journal written in June 2000 when I was
proofreader at the _St. Albert Gazette_.
"Last week I said to the reporters present, whose desks are in the
newsroom with mine, that occasionally I have sat at my computer with my
left hand on my hip and when that happens I feel like Ann, the previous
proofreader, because I'd seen her do it. 'It's like the spirit of Ann is
still in this corner!" I said.
"Ha!" Glenna laughed. "You will never be an Ann!"
