I think they're missing the point of the original Robocop. It's a
satirical look at US corporate capitalism disguised in over-the-top
violence. One just need to look at two of the ads in the movie -
Nukem<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmSSVt7Mfkk>the 6000
SUX <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fl8mQhxhE_Q>. Also, they replaced the
ultra violent massacre of Alex Murphy with a car bomb? Fail. No Clarence
Boddicker? Fail.
But the surest sign that this movie will suck? They're aiming for PG13.
