Ah, screw it. I’ll probably join. May take a while to download the game, so
don’t expect me tonight.

No local servers unfortunately. I suggest you try get on the Shiva server
(EU)... we have a guild and if you join you will receive the benefits of a FULL
guild (we levelled up our guild during early access... we have unlocked rank 5
which is the highest rank for a guild... so essentially we can start giving our
members certain guild benefits like boosted exp gain etc). We currently have
over 200 members our limit is 512.

The game runs really well... even joining FATES with over 100+ people there was
hardly any slow down. The only major problem so far is constant server
maintenance (i guess the game has just been released and i dont think they
expected the sheer number of players...)

Aw man, this actually really sounds like something that I want to get involved
with. But...the time...
@Ecco – how’s the lag on the game? Do we have local servers?

Lol there is no summoner-necromancer thing :p there is a summoner but you have
to meet the requirements as it is basically a prestigious job.

The basic class(es) I think your looking for is: conjurer (basically beginner
white mage... white mage is a specialised/prestigious class), thaumaturge
(basically black mage...black mage is prestigious), or arcanist (basically
support and damage dealing... arcanist also can summon companions... arcanist
can progress to a scholar or summoner).

However once you reach level 10 with you starting class you can criss over to
other classes... so if u dont like a class it doesnt matter coz you can move
over to another (or cross class to build up a variety of skills e.g. My
thaumaturge can also cast white magic as i also levelled up conjurer...)

I finished downloading it early this morning, will probably log on tonight to
see what it plays like. Download size from PSN is between 6 and 7 gigs.

I really like the idea of playing this, but I just don’t have the time to
dedicate to another game. Maybe I should work less? I mean get a job that takes
up less time.

No you don't attack people at random LOL. Its basicslly open world from the
start (you do your first quest and then your online). Depending on the class
you choose you will also start in one of three places.

It essentially is final fantasy in sn online world. You can party up with other
online players. You can also multi-class but your role in each group becomed
more specialised the higher you go. There are slso prestiges classes i.e
summoner and if you prefer not adventuring you csn also tske on a profession
where you can make wespons, equipment, accessories, potions, etc or become a
gatherer (miner, fishermsn, botanist) to gather resources which are needed to
make stuff etc...you can sell or trade whatever you make or even deposit in
guild chest. Game is huge and a lot to do.

Please do get final fantasy a realm reborn, its awesome. I am on the shiva
server and we have a little guild going on...i am ranked quite highly in the
guild...i designed the guilds crest and also helped in naming the guild. I
played the open beta, closed beta and early access versions of the game and can
assist anyone starting out. So try and join the shiva server and i can try add
you to our guild ("shards of shiva") if you interested.

Look forward to meeting you all in game :)
