I wonder as well. I mean, DH is going to be making money with their pay-to-play/DLC stuff for KI. If I was MS and I'd spent all this time hyping the game, I'd want to keep a hand on what was happening. If I was Amazon, I'd be cheerful that a company that I'd bought already had an income stream and I'd want MS to bugger off. (Not sure what they made really...) Takes their IP and gives it to Double Helix to make Killer Instinct. Then Double Helix fucks off. Going to throw Killer Instinct at a new developer now? I assume they have a contract etc. that would have them finish what they started. > Date: Thu, 6 Feb 2014 10:18:46 +0200 > Subject: Re: [CPT-FGC] Re: Hi > From: ashraf.barendse@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:ashraf.barendse@xxxxxxxxx> > To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > http://techcrunch.com/2014/02/05/amazon-acquires-video-gaming-studio-double-helix-games/ > > LB on point. > ========================================================================= > You are subscribed to the Cape Town Fighting Game Community mailing list. > > //www.freelists.org/list/cpt-fgc ********************************************************************** The information in this e-mail is confidential and may be legally privileged.
