I came across an FM switcher at a museum in California that was operational during a convention, when I was talking to the people there, they mentioned that parts like spare prime movers were in plentiful supply because these engines were also used for marine applications as well.

It's too bad I couldn't hear it run, someone from the museum had left a battery switch on and the batteries were dead....
