A note in another post mentions red used was a orangy red. The colour used
was a bright red, signal red would be close I think. It was fairly close
to the red the post office used at the time. As noted in other posts we
need to establish a colour base for CP equipment and buildings.
Re the Smith trucks with the yellow nose, I remember seeing then here in
Owen Sound. We didn't get pups here and most trailers had white lettering
as did the cab doors.
