Hi Rainer,
You are correct to a point, the trailers in Morants book got
that red paint scheme in 1963. Before that they where painted
killarney green. It took the CPR almost 10 years to either to devest
them selves of old Smith Transport equipment. Or re-painted the
equipment they kept. The same is true for both Dench Transport and
O.K. Valley Express Lines. Which happened in about the same time
frame.
