Well this is well funny to the group I was sending my married niece in Toledo
Ohio a note back regarding a live steamer she saw on holiday in Northern
Michigan Last month we attended Railfest in Owosso Michigan I dared her to
ride the 71/2 scale live steam trains we went and took a lot of pictures of
each other being big kids. She just had to show her husband what an over grown
kid I am when it comes to Steam Rairoading There were 8 12inch to the foot
locos there including Southern Pacific GS4 4449 and 2 berkshires it was a good
day . I have the highest respect for live steam railroaders the labour and
skill involved in the building one of these replicas is astounding .I can
understand it because I have a machine tool background . Well niece is proably
going to give me what for for letting all our group about kidding her still
about riding the live steamers
