One of the most common CN boxcars were the steel-frame 40 cars, CN 503500 to
513459, built in the late 1920's to the early '30's. To model these in HO, CN
modellers fought with the F&C kit, used the Sylvan one-piece body version, or
built the Kaslo kit.
But if you wanted this car ready-to-run, you were out of luck--until next
