as floquil tuscan is waaaaaaaaay too dark, i use polyscale lt frt car red for
the red and floquil antique white for the trim (it has an off-white/yellow cast
to it). these colors look correct to me. as for the hope station, i'm pretty
sure they used cpr standard colors on it too. bill yancey

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knew the paint scheme generally used on No. 4
stations (trim, etc). I was looking at photos of other types of western
stations that still exist, and it looks like tuscan with some kind of light
yellow/white trim. However, I'm not sure if this applies to Hope station --
looking at black and white photos of it, it looks like the trim is at least the
same shade as the siding, leading me to wonder if the entire thing was painted
in one colour. I wonder if, this being the KVR, there was some deviation from
'standard' CPR colours?
I was told the basic colour was tuscan, but trim etc eludes me.
