I'm still hunting down a possible photo of Hope station in colour. Very close.
From what I've seen in colour photos, most of the stations appear to be in that
tuscan colour with that off-white-yellow trim. Some did not seem to fit any
scheme at all, but most did. I strongly suspect the trim on Hope was a colour
close to whatever the base colour was. The trim does not stand out at all in
the pictures.
Another question I meant to ask everyone -- Hope station had 'HOPE' painted on
the roof... is this standard practice for most stations, or a uniquely Hope
thing? Any guesses as to whether it would have been painted on both sides (west
as well as east?)

I was told the basic colour was tuscan, but trim etc eludes me.
Tuscan was never been a building colour. There has been a discussion about
building colours in the past. You can check the list archives for that. Some of
the building drawings in the Document Library contain painting instructions.
Check that out.
