That fine. I just read it as disagreeing with almost everything I said. As I
have spent years doing writing and publish a rail industry magazine and have
worked and been involved in the industry virtually all of my life so I am
particularly fussy over accuracy. I have one of the largest railroad
libraries in existence, probably about 3000 titles, not many people can come
close to that and it makes for good research sources.
I remember seeing Trainmasters here, I remember RS3's, RS10's and RS18's,
even steam. In fact when I got into the hobby and photography back in 1954
we had more steam here than diesels. I even remember seeing (and
photographing) CN's one and only Trainmaster here. I don't know if you knew
this or not but I think TRAINS had a photo very early in the days of the
Canadian when it was actually steam hauled somewhere back east on at least
one occasion. Probably a Royal Hudson, but I am not positive. So even the
Canadian was steam hauled at least once. I have four CPR Selkirk's in HO in
my collection, one of every class.
