Some time ago it came up that this model was closest to a D10j (962-986).
I'd tend to agree with that but there was so many detail
variations that it could easily represent a D10g starting from engine #914
and all the way through the D10h,j and k classes to engine #1111.
It's best to work from a photo as D10s could have high or centre mounted
headlights and some had
footboard pilots. Other details like pumps and power reverse mountings could
vary and some were oil burners..
Yep, I agree, you have to work from photos because these engines
were like the G2 Pacifics - no two were exactly the same.
