This unit appears to be in service in this photo. It was still
operating in 1966. It was one of six retired 5/27/68 and sold 6/5/68
for parts and later all were scrapped at Ogden. Traction motors from
many TM's were kept by CPR and 4500-4507 were built using these motors.

shows CPR 8906 coupled to a B&M caboose at White River Junction in
1966. This is the first I've heard of CPR F-M's on the Newport Sub, or
east of Montreal, for that matter. Was this unusual, or have I just
not been paying attention?
