A "One Time Only" message about a new book from Nickel Belt Rails:
"6077 A Fine Locomotive" is the history of CN Mountain type #6077,
currently the centrepiece of the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum in
Capreol. From its origin at MLW in Montreal in 1944, through a wreck
when a month old, operation in central Canada, conversion to oil
fuel, service in western Canada, being saved from scrapping by a
sympathetic employee in Winnipeg, going to Capreol for display and
its 2008 refurbishing by the museum, this is an illustrated memoir.
The book is 28 pages, spiral bound with 54 black and white and colour
photos plus other graphics. Cost is $15.00 plus postage & handling of
