The platforms were certainly not used for any regular function in the 1976-1982
period, but I have vague recollections of once or twice, perhaps later in that
period, of seeing cars parked in one of the tracks for a couple of weeks. I
think there was some thought of leasing the tracks to store GO Trains during
the day but don't think that idea went anywhere. I believe the tracks were part
of CPR rather than the TTR. I left Toronto at the beginning of 1983 so have no
idea of subsequent activity, if any.

The building was vacant and nothing handled on the tracks.
Are you sure? What year did it stop being used? Are you certain VIA did not
use it for anything in the early days?
I don't think I ever rode past it before 1980 and it was most definitely
being used then.
