I haven't read all the posts about Pullmans on CP passenger trains, but if some
are
wondering about running Pullmans with US road names in CP trains for model
railway
purposes, you can include pretty much anything on the mainline trains. I doubt
any were
used on branch lines, but never say 'never' in these cases.
Conventions, religious gatherings and big sports events in any large Canadian
city in the
steam era and into the 60s often meant sleeping cars coming from all over the
US and Canada.
A few years ago Robin Lowrie took time to put the consists of CP Toronto-Ottawa
trains 33 and 34 onto a spread sheet. Groups of Pullmans were noted to and from
Ottawa as an example.
