I forget where, but I have seen BC government taxi license applications
somewhere and one of the conditions was it was exclusively for use by
CP employees. So effectively a contracted taxi service, just for CP
employees, not any fare paying passenger. I believe they do have a radio
so they can coordinate with the crew they are picking up or make sure a
crew is dropped off in the right place.

One more question, the 'driver' that delivered the fresh crew would he be a CPR
employee or a taxi outfit? The reason I ask this is a friend used to work for a
limo outfit in the Canmore/Calgary area and she told me about ferrying crews on
the CPR. I also saw a crew replaced on the Belleville Sub several years ago at
Prestonville Rd (just west of the western end of Darlington. I'm pretty sure it
was a van with a taxi logo on it. Would these 'outside' employees/contractors
have a CPR radio? The driver in question said he was listening to the radio.
