Leslie, I agree with you almost wholeheartedly, with the
exception of BLW DS4-4-1000 7065 which was delivered in black
with yellow panels and black lettering. Furthermore, the Alco/
MLW RS-2s had black roofs, the BLW DRS4-4-1000s did not. My
earlier reference to your article pertained to the suggestion
that S-4s were delivered in Tuscan & Grey, while, in fact the
initial order was delivered in Tuscan & Yellow. Regardless
there was no intent to impune vast knowledge on the subject,
merely trying to pin down paint applications.

The only road units to receive the maroon with yellow band scheme were the
