We are looking into doing the same thing and we came across a really good
offering for Microsoft Teams phones from Call Tower.  If you already have E5
licensing from Microsoft its really hard to beat their pricing.

We are currently using a NEC 3C phone system.  It has some roaming soft phone
options but does not seem to work well.  Point being with the remote and mobile
office being more important than ever it is time to move on.

The number of options is a bit overwhelming.  I’d like to avoid adding another
layer/vendor and move to Teams.  I hear it is a bit primitive but our needs are
pretty simple.  Our phone vendor is recommending 8x8 or Ring Central.
Preliminarily they seem solid.  We use Comcast internet.  They are pushing
their Business Voice Edge.  It includes a new dedicated data line and phones
which is a bonus.

So, if anyone has any experience with any of these that would help steer me it
would be greatly appreciated.  I’d love to hear some pros and cons.
Again; Ring Central, 8x8, Business Voice Edge or straight Teams.
